EXHIBITOR NEWS: Sphanda Ngezinkukhu arrives at SAITEX.
Sphanda Ngezinkukhu is a rabbit breeding company that has been registered in the year 2012 and have find its rabbit breeding opportunity in the year 2014 where it was breeding angora rabbit for their hair for textile purposes until in 2015 where the company found a new opportunity to introduce in the Southern Africa Markets THE NEW WHITE ZEALAND RABBIT FOR HEALTHY WHITE MEAT. The company have started this astonishing opportunity on the year 2016 and have established it from naturally breeding the Rabbits and slaughter them in Carletonville – a contracted abattoir. The abattoir is a rabbit and chicken abattoir and it is Halaal Certified and also the company’s meats are approved by the heart and stroke foundation. The abattoir is an export meat approved abattoir with high level of healthy inspection.
At this year’s show the company will be selling processed rabbit products in three different products in the show with a main focus on presenting and marketing its rabbit meat and promoting its impacts to the consumers and the lovers of a healthy lifestyle and get to a selling agreement with them. It will be exhibiting the rabbit carcass, rabbit woers and rabbit burgers with other rabbit meat additional products BUT with the main focus on the three products mentioned. The rabbit carcass will be portion in two different ways. The woers will be spiced in two different ways and the burger in two different sizes and taste. This item will be promoted in display and we will be grilling for client testing awareness.
“Sphanda Ngezinkukhu has been supplying the rabbit white meat to local markets of Middelburg since 2016 September until up to date and has been selling in very small units. The company also give rabbit farming training and buyback contracts to make sure that they are many farmers under Sphanda Ngezinkukhu so that volume can be met at low production cost. Through this initiative the company has two major products which are rabbit breeding trainings/contracts and rabbit white meat products selling”, says Lukhele Buhlebuyeza.
Sphanda Ngezinkukhu’s pricing and payments are done in Dollars for international client and agreements must be signed first before any purchase order and prices are paid 80% before delivery with a delivery transport separate from its pro-forma invoice payments. The company’s price ranges from $3.00 per unit upwards. For local retailers the payment is in its local currency with local orders required to be at 0.5 ton to qualify transportation on its side. For international markets the order must be 2.5 tons in SADC Region and to other areas of the world the order must be 5 tons and above in total for all the products.
The company believes that SAITEX is a suitable platform to help grow the brand and create a relationship of sales with other retailers and meat lover in the exhibition.
