Profusion Hair’s hair care range gives you the chance to do just that. Profusion hair was initially established in 2011 to import and distribute a range of beauty and hair care products and accessories in South Africa. Further market research determined that a large potential niche market existed, for a unique range of specifically formulated dual purpose and manufactured hair care products for natural human and synthetic hair, as no local products were available with limited imported products to purchase at hugely inflated USD prices, in the SA market.
At this year’s show the company will be exhibiting hair care products such as shampoo, conditioner, holding spritz, hair refresher, styling gel, shining serum, scalp soother and other products such as weaving gloves with a main focus on creating brand awareness, securing distributors, wholesalers and retailers in neighbouring SADC and overseas companies. Furthermore, the company also wants to focus of securing distributors, wholesalers and national and other retailers in South Africa.
Consequently, in 2014 a range of seven hair care products branded “Desire”, was created through professional cosmetic formulation and testing procedures, and presented in eye-catching packaging. In August 2014 product testing of the company’s core products namely the wig shampoo and conditioner were concluded and approved by Tshwane University of Technology in Garankuwa, partly sponsored by SEDA Nelspruit and the owner of the company.
“In December 2014 the remaining hair care range: Hair Freshener, Holding Spritz, Styling Gel, Shining Serum and Scalp Soother was formulated, tested and approved by Vantage Chemicals, Johannesburg”, says Desire Glen.
The company has chosen SAITEX as a suitable platform as it believes that it’s a show where serious business people scout for new business opportunities and products. Many potential business partners locally and from other countries visit the show. Additionally, Profusion hair is a member of the following organisations: Cecosa (Cosmetic Export Council of South Africa, CTFA (Cosmetic, Toiletries and Fragrance Association) Proudly South African Association.
Desire Glen says: “By exhibiting in consecutive years, they will see you as a serious business proprietor.”
