EXHIBITOR NEWS: Emalahleni Investments arrives at SAITEX
Emalahleni Investments (Pty) Ltd t/a SGB Sanitary Industries, is an empowered company, manufacturing 2 disposable diaper (nappies). The company started manufacturing in January 2016 in factory premises owned by an associated company situated in Clewer, a light industrial area in Emalahleni (Witbank).
At this year’s show the company will be exhibiting sanitary items such as baby nappies, wet wipes & sanitary towels with its main focus on attracting potential customers locally and abroad, since the company offers product that bears a proudly South African Logo as well as the major challenges facing the company, by trying to establish a market for its nappies, that were competitive in both quality and price, and positioning the product in the minds of consumers as a viable alternative to their current usage.
“In doing research as a company we found a gap in nappy industry. You either find high or low priced nappies because of quality and technology but nothing in between. This is where we come in, producing quality nappies at a reasonable price”, says Trade Advisor, Azwi Tshavhungwa.
The company’s products come in two different ranges namely Econo and Comfort. The Super Absorbency (Econo) range offers the following: Embossed PE back sheet, Leg cuff, PP Tape, Super absorbent core and the Comfort Range offers the following: Cloth like back sheet, Leg cuff, Velcro magic tape, ADL and the super absorbent core – Pulp & SAP.
“Our new generation nappies offer a wide range of premium product using advanced technology to give you the best quality products. Our nappies use a high concentration of super absorbency polymer that keeps the baby’s bum dry at all times supported by wetness indicator that lets you know when the nappy is due to change”, says Trade Advisor, Azwi Tshavhungwa.
The company has chosen SAITEX and believes that it is the platform where many companies will be in attendance, and it will provide it with major opportunities to advertise its Cutekids product to the rest of the African Continent.
