A Brazilian premier firm of processing meat and a partner of the second largest poultry company in the United States is looking to develop new opportunities when it appears at SAITEX 2017, and the co-located Africa’s Big 7, the continent’s premier annual meeting place for the food and drink industry.

“We understand SAITEX and AB7 is a good bridge to be closer to the African market” says Guilherme Elias from JBS.

JBS started off by processing less than five head of cattle per day back in 1953, today the company processes, packages and distributes fresh, further-processed and value-added beef, pork, lamb and poultry products for sale to customers in more than 105 countries on six continents.

It employs more than 78,000 team members and operates more than 100 facilities in the United States, Australia, Canada, Puerto Rico and Mexico.

JBS will be at the Brazilian Pavilion during SAITEX and Africa Big 7 showcasing its meat range including canned meat, pouches, frozen cooked and deep frozen meat, jerked beef, and extract.

The company has grown tremendously throughout the years to include products that are related to their core business including leather, soups, glycerine, biodiesel, collagen, and natural cases to their product offering.

JBS can be found at the Gallagher Convention Centre between June 25 to 27.
