Innovation is the lifeblood of a thriving company and economy. In order to grow the economy, we need to identify and recognize some of the innovative work taking place on our continent. The ability to identify a need in the market and develop an innovative product or service to meet this need, is something which should be celebrated. In the spirit of recognising outstanding achievement in new product innovation, SAITEX is proud to launch the Innovation Celebration.
We’ve looked across multiple industries to find the most innovative products and companies. Our expert panel of judges will vet the entrants to this competition and shortlist some of the top innovations, which will then be presented at the expo.
WHAT IS IT?
- A call to enter will be sent out, for people to submit nominations across several categories at the Innovation Celebration.
- We will use our extensive databases, as well as a dedicated marketing campaign, to call for entries, which will run from March-May 2023.
- All entries will then be qualified, and the submissions go before our expert judging panel, where they will be scored on multiple criteria including usefulness, innovation, design, and response to market.
- Following the scoring, the finalists will be announced.
- Each finalist will be displayed prominently on the exhibition floor.
- The winners will be announced in a ceremony on the opening day of the show, 18 June 2023.
