I am innovative thinker with extensive marketing and insights history in the South African corporate and production industries. Blending both executive level insights and marketing experience, I have been trusted as a subject matter expert to optimise portfolios, launch compelling NPDs and line extensions, produce better communication, take informed strategic pricing decisions, drive base business optimisation and enhance ROI from marketing spends, project NPD volumes, construct sound bottom-up forecasts and direct demand planning.

In my various roles, I have managed all aspects of marketing and research at MNCs, including communication, equity, demand planning, NPD development, and go to market activation.

I've managed teams of brand specialists, analytics experts and Consumer Insight Managers as well as a broader Category Leadership team consisting of sales, trade marketing, finance, project Management and equity members.

I am a creative and tenacious professional who brings unique skills to the marketing function having led the business insights and strategy analytics area for the region (SCEA), managed ROI analysis for mixed market modelling, drove media deep dives and distortion studies affecting all categories’ distribution of marketing spend.

I have unrivalled insights ability and experience, which drive meaningful marketing actions. With a exemplary foundation based on insights and strategy experience, I drive data-centred and fact-based marketing programmes to stimulate category growth.

I’m proud to have won the 2009 Pentagon Award winner at Markinor, the 2011 EMEEA winner of the Strategic Insights into Action Award, the EMEAA Marketing Excellence Awards 2013 for transformational marketing execution, and most recently, a Global Category Award for Marketing Excellence 2016.
